Clean energy is poised for rapid growth. Under a business-as-usual scenario, investment in new renewable electric power generation is projected to reach $6.9 trillion over 25 years — and it is telling that this level of investment is expected to increase an additional 75% to create a $12.1 trillion investment opportunity as the world works to achieve the 2°C goals of the Paris Climate Agreement.
